Do you see anything wrong with these flowers Jacob picked for me? Yeah he didn't either... lol Gotta love those boys.

Its been awhile
Its been a while since we (my mom, Merrit, Jackie and I) got
together and headed out to Mesa for
a class! Jackie was kind enough to drive us out there- I get so sick of driving
all the time and I didn’t have the company car as an option. On the way out
there I was relishing the fact that I could play on my phone (again since I am
usually the driver), playing on FB, playing words with Friends etc… and Jackie
asked me if I was going to be on my phone the whole way… I said, yeah probably why?
She said because its rude… UGHHHHH I was so made because she and everyone else
does it while I am driving, but I put my phone way. Later Jackie brought up
that Kris, her husband, commented that her and I fight like sisters… could be….
I don’t have any sisters, but I defiantly don’t fight with anyone else they way
I fight with Jackie. There really isn’t anything off limits that we can tell
each other. Not many people are like that.
Anyway, the four of us had a wonderful, unhealthy meal at
Freddy’s Steakburgers. Yummy cheese fries. I refilled my soda on the way out of
the restaurant to take for class…. Yet another argument Jackie and I have… she
says you shouldn’t refill and take your cup with you- because the restaurant
intends for you to just drink while you are there. I disagree. I think if they
have the machine out and no notes about limited refills you can fill it and go…
Anyway (again) we got to Etc for our class and it was a
really great class. I love Joey! She makes such fabulous books and the directions
can easily be followed… she precuts EVERYTHING! At the end of class she drew
names for door prizes and a free class… and guess who won? ME !! No thanks to
my friends who all chanted, “Oh she isn’t here and don’t you have to be present
to win??” I probably won’t take the April class because it is a baby book :
( but I am sure May will be awesome!
After Jackie dropped off Merit and took my mom and I to my
truck at work, my mom and I got home about 10PM.
My brother was nice enough to come by and water the garden, fill up the dogs
water and feed them that evening so I didn’t have to worry so much about them
(Kenny is in Vegas for work). Little B has been in trouble and my brother ran
out of chores for him at their house so he made him pick up my dogs poop too
since the were there.

It's a boy!
Mason Alexander Foster is here! He arrived this morning at 5:15 AM and weight 10 lbs 7 oz and was 22inches long... WOW.
At 3:30 this morning I received a text " Im in labor!! call me when you wake up!"
At 5:25 I received another text "Mason Alexander is here! 10 lbs 7 oz!"
I woke up at 6AM.
I cannot believe I missed it!! I was supposed to take the pictures for her and I slept right through the whole thing.
Around 2 AM Blair started to have labor pains. Her and Allan timed the contractions with an app on Allan's phone (cute huh?) and by 3 AM they decided to go to the hospital... on the way to the hospital they had to stop and get gas (let me tell you I would have been less than patient with that....). Between the gas station and the hospital her water broke in the car! She said she could actually hear a pop when it burst.
They got to the hospital, got a room etc. She was around 5 cm when the anesthesiologist came in to give her an epidural. He tried about 7 or 8 times until he finally got her line started... but then it was too late. She was fulled dilated and it was time to deliver. NO doctor was there so the anesthesiologist stayed for the delivery.
She delivered a 10 lb 7 oz baby 100% naturally... yikes. That is like a 3 month old! crazy! She said it was the worst experience of her life and defiantly the hardest delivery. I was hoping she was going to say it was the easiest since it was the 4th and it was quick! Poor thing!!
Her and baby are doing well. Allan was resting most of the time we visited, but we did get to say hi to him tonight too.

St.Patty's Day
For some unknown reason I was really looking forward to St.
Patty’s Day this year. I bought stuff in early February to make the day super
special for my nephews. I kept telling my brother about it and he would make
comments like, “Isn’t that in March?” or “When is this holiday anyway” lol
I signed up for a
baking class in the morning with Jackie, Joanna and Stacy from work. The class
was basically everything on a stick; cake pops, chocolate dipped marshmallows
and rice krispies on a stick. The class was pretty fun, but I decided making
cake pops was not for me. It was A LOT of work and would have required I buy a
lot of supplies.... Jackie was tickled by the whole thing and just loved it.
Joanna and Stacy like it, but said they probably wouldn’t make them again. It
just don’t get spending so much time making something you are going to eat so
beautiful.. I rather spend the time on a scrapbook or card… ![]() |

We had corned beef, cabbage, baby carrots and red potatoes for dinner. My brother made the boys try everything and they ended up liking it. My brother also tried it for the first time and like it a lot. I made Italian Chicken for Kenny, my brother and the boys and that came out pretty delicious too. My parents enjoyed all the food and didn’t complain about the extremely over cooked cabbage J It was such a nice, fun day!
Oh... and the men decided to silly string the little boys as they left...

Bunco night
Tonight was fun.
For me and the boys that is.
Apparently it was painful for my mom and brother.
We didn't have anything going on and either did the Taylors so we went over to play Bunco. I threw together some prizes and picked our a 'bunco' bear. We all chipped in a quarter and the winner won the 'pot'
They boys LOVED it.
I think anything playing with the adults is big fun for them. I wish the adults liked it more, but hey you can't win them all!
Green food potluck
At work we had a GREEN FOOD potlluck for St. Patty's Day.
I brought these:
I brought these:
This picture doesn't really do it justice, but we really had a great turn out!
Jereme made this delicious limeaid... I had about 4 glasses of it! I will probably never make it myself but here is the recipe if you are interested.
treats
For St. Patty's day I made these "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" treats:
They too were a big hit!

Fabric Fairy, Cow Duck and and a shiny black Lab
My friend Carol is SUPER generous and is constantly sharing fabric with me... I love it (I know duh who wouldn't?) She heard that my Aunt Barbara and I were sewing together and were needing some charms... the next day I got this bag of fabric on my desk! My Aunt is going to be so excited!
After work I decided to take the Taylor boys on a little adventure... We went to Taco Bell and ordered a grip of Doritos Tacos, oh yes I said DORITO Tacos and went to the park.

We spent a lot of time feeding the ducks and geese -

Oh and Jacob pointed at this one and said, "COW DUCK." I thought I would die laughing... He is getting to be so smart and funny!
Last time we went to this park Little Brian discovered the turtles.... this time my brother discovered the giant goldfish! It was crazy watching their huge heads come out of the water... the boys were in awe of course : )
Here are some other pictures I took tonight with my awesome new camera -
Oh, and we got Shelby groomed! I was hoping it wouldn't be a waste of money ($50) to have her deshedded, but she is SO soft and feels so much better... worth the money. I wish I would have taken a picture of her when she first got home because she looked so good... she digs everyday so the clean is already gone, but the lack of hair is wonderful!!

Garden
I finally got my garden planted!
I tried to plant a Spring Garden last year and the dogs DESTROYED it! I couldn't keep them out... it was frustrating...
Since then I have thought a lot about trying to plant another garden, but built it up in my head that it would be hard...
It wasn't.
It only took me about 30 minutes to dig it up.
I found all kinds of buried items (tools, buckets etc) in the dirt (When the dogs destroyed it last year I just walked away from it and left it as they had left it).
All that procrastination for nothing...
I bought this Jasmine plant just because I LOVE the smell.

Bananas = ice cream
The other day I was trolling around pinterest and discovered this idea. My hubby LOVES, LOVES, LOVES ice cream so if I can find a healthy alternative... I would be all over it! I tried this today. I froze the bananas the other day and blended them in my blender (since I don't have a food processor). Its true that is becomes the same texture as soft serve ice cream, but it doesn't taste like soft serve ice cream... It taste like banana. The taste was a little strong for me before I added enough peanut butter and chocolate to take away the healthiness... Unfortunately Kenny doesn't like chocolate so this won't be a great snack for him. If YOU like banana this would be a great treat for you! Also, if you were dieting this would be a wonderful way to get your ice cream fix.
