When I first heard about the community garden it sounded very interesting, but then I found out the cost and didn't think much more about it. Then the other day Kenny brought it up again and asked if I was going to do it. I told him no way its $80! He told me to do it... that was the only push I needed!
I e-mailed the city and got my agreement signed and check sent in.
Today I went to the garden to pick out my box.
Today I went to the garden to pick out my box.
I was pretty surprised at what I saw. It was pretty desolate... Many of the boxes were empty or had a bunch of dead stuff in it... Also, there were spiders EVERYWHERE! I guess that comes the with territory and I figure maybe in Spring more people will plant their gardens.

I am really excited to get my stuff planted! Kenny is going to help me create an automatic drip system so that I don't have to go visit the garden everyday. Fun Fun!
