Tonight we joined our friend from work for a Wednesday night worship with his group called Alive at CCV (Christ's Church of the Valley). The cool thing was that he is actually in the band! He plays the guitar for the for them on Sundays for the 5th and 6th graders and the 3rd Wednesday for this group! The room we met in happened to be decorated like a giant pirate ship!It was a nice service and I loved their rendition of Amazing Grace. Everyone in the group was very nice so we might end up going to a weekend service just to try it out (although we just love Radiant).
Afterwards we went to Starbucks for some yummy drinks.
