Last Thursday I took a class at Scrap Happy Sisters with my mom and a co-worker and we made this fun, sparkly, recipe book on a stand! The class also included a cookie swap.
We all brought 10 copies of our recipe and a few dozen cookies. When we left we had a smorgage board of cookies and a bunch of new reciepes to try. It was a fun class and evening.
Here is the receipe I exchanged--
Easy Lemon Cookies
Ingredients:
1 (18.25 oz) package of lemon cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 c oil
1 tsp lemon extract
1/3 c confectioners’ sugar – for decoration
directions-
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Pour cake mix into a large bowl. Stir in eggs, oil and lemon extract until well blended. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into a bowl of confectioners’ sugar. Roll them around until they’re lightly covered. Once sugared put them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 6-9 mins in a preheated oven. The bottoms will be light brown, and the insides chewy (makes 36)
I love that recipe book, oh man, I should have taken the class. You did a great job on your book!
