Tallest Tree

I made this a while back and my friend Carol quilted it for me for FREE. So nice huh? She does that kind of stuff all the time : ) It has stars and swirls in the quilting... I love it!
I pieced the back out of my leftovers... I kinda like it.
Just need to do the binding sometime before the beginning of December so I can display it this holiday season. Thanks Carol!!

Household update

We have gone from 2 adults and 3 dogs to... 3 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs. God has a funny way of answering prayers... Kenny says I should be more specific next time I pray for children... ha ha

Wedding!

Kenny and I went to our first Catholic wedding on Saturday. Our coworker Amanda G married her sweetie Mike. It was very interesting for both of is since neither one of us had been to a Catholic wedding before. There was a lot of stand up, sit down, kneel, stand up, etc. It was interesting to hear their spin on certain Bible verses and stories...

After the service they released doves... which I totally was looking forward to and missed because I was busily talking.

It was was beautiful and the reception was SO awesome! The had the reception at Skye which is a pretty fancy restaurant. The food was amazing!!

They did the traditional first dance (on the raised stage in the middle), cut the cake, father-daughter dance, garter toss and bouquet toss.

It was fun to be part of her special day.

26 Days of Gratitude- day 4 "D"

Amanda is thankful for --

D- Dad- my dad... the best BBQer out there. He is hardworking and will help you with any project. He loves and puts his family first.

Kenny is thankful for--

Doug-Doug is a giving person. He gives a lot... of butt kickins. Its either by cards or golf. He has a lot of fun, and makes things interesting.

This is why...

we need an electric fence on top of our 6 foot brick fence...
She is amazing... I should have trained her to be one of those dogs that can do obstacle courses..
We got new neighbors... who have a dog... I am sure we will be putting up another electric fence up this weekend. We already have one around the garden and on the east fence (because those neighbors have a dog too and hope likes to peek over)
